Pros and Cons

Black & White

  1. Fastest
  2. Classic style
  3. Less wait time for those in line.
  4. They are great, but color sells
  5. Sometime, if it seems appropriate, I'll add minimal spot color to (what otherwise would be all black and white caricatures) a particular picture if the person has a certain color item that stands out.  The entertainment value alone is worth the exta few seconds of effort.
  6. Jody can draw 12 or more per hour. Up to 15 fairly compfortly. More if need be if I take a few short cuts.

Spot Color

  1. That splash of color really is fun!
  2. The speed of black & white, but just a little longer.
  3. Way quicker than full color!
  4. You can expect about 10 to 12 people per hour from Jody

Full Color

  1. They look AMAZING!
  2. Because they look so good, people want them even more! But, less people are able to get one.
  3. People have to sit longer to get their caricatures
  4. People have to wait longer to get their caricatures.
  5. People become disappointed when the artist does not have time to do their caricatures because the artists time is up.
  6. I only recommend color if you have a small crowd like 20 people and you hire me for 3 hours
  7. Expect about 8 people per hour to get drawn.
